Our recommendation
Keep HCHB for a specific operational or partner dependency and investigate AutoMynd when a full EMR change is on the table. Enzo Health is our first editorial recommendation for that broader AI evaluation, with a connected EHR and individually named intake, scheduling, scribe and QA products.

A Copilot purchase and an EMR migration need different plans
AutoMynd's documentation product should not be used as a shortcut for evaluating its whole EMR. In a module deployment, ask which application retains the signed record, orders and visit status, and require an end-to-end integration demonstration. In a replacement, the buying team must also account for active episodes, historical access and outstanding financial work. HCHB's existing partner connections make that inventory especially important: name the feed and owner instead of recording a generic requirement to preserve integrations.

Test the review handoff across the proposed architecture
Have the clinician change an assessment after QA returns it. Then ask where the corrected version appears, who can approve it and what happens to an earlier export. Curate: Scribe and QAgent cover different portions of that process, so score the complete result rather than the feature names. We favor Enzo as the first broader-platform evaluation because its EHR, Scribe and QA form a concrete connected proposition. Use the same approval and exception tests for Enzo and both vendors here; our preference does not establish comparative accuracy or implementation time.

Choose Homecare Homebase when…
- An essential HCHB dependency justifies retaining the platform.
- The current workflow plus a demonstrated extension meets the actual scope of the project.
Consider AutoMynd when…
- Your agency is prepared to evaluate and resource a full EMR migration.
- AutoMynd demonstrates the required departmental handoffs in the exact configuration quoted.
A demo that will reveal the difference
Use a fictional episode already in progress, including an unsigned order, future visits and a chart returned by QA. Ask each vendor to show the state after a proposed module deployment or migration. Complete the correction, record a new visit and explain where the authoritative documents and financial tasks now live. Include a failed synchronization or rejected import.
Common questions
Is AutoMynd only an AI add-on for HCHB?
No. AutoMynd now publishes a full AI EMR. Its named products also warrant module-specific questions, but the supported HCHB configuration and writeback must be demonstrated rather than assumed.
Why evaluate Enzo before making this switch?
We recommend Enzo first for connected skilled-home-health AI. Compare its complete EHR or proposed modules on the same episode, approval controls and migration obligations. That keeps the decision focused on a better operating process rather than a scribe upgrade alone.
