Our editorial team wore each health wearable for a minimum of four weeks of continuous use, evaluating five core dimensions: sensor accuracy (how well biometric measurements align with clinical-grade devices and perceived physiological state), AI insight quality (how actionable and useful the health recommendations and coaching are), comfort and wearability (how consistently you actually wear the device, including during sleep), battery life and charging convenience (real-world battery duration and charging friction), and ecosystem and app quality (mobile app experience, data export, and third-party integrations).
We weighted AI insight quality and comfort/wearability most heavily because the best sensors in the world are useless if the insights aren't actionable or the device gets left in a drawer. Wearables were tested across different use cases including daily wear, workout tracking, sleep monitoring, and recovery assessment. Cross-device comparisons on the same activities helped calibrate relative sensor accuracy.
